Privacy Policy

TalkLytx is built so that your data stays under your control. This policy explains what we collect, what we never collect, and how analyzing your data right in your browser protects you. This page is a plain-language summary and not legal advice.
1. The short version
Your data is analyzed entirely in your browser and is never sent to any AI or pooled on a shared server. When you ask a question, the AI only receives the basic details about your data (like column names) and your question — not your data itself.
2. What we store
To run your account we store:
- Account details: name, email, and authentication credentials.
- Your uploaded files, in your own private storage (the single source of truth for your data).
- Basic details about your datasets: column names, types, and row counts.
- Workspace content you create: threads, dashboards, and saved questions.
- Operational logs needed to keep the service reliable and secure.
3. What the AI sees
AI features receive only the basic details about your data and your plain-English question, which they use to work out the answer and write a clear explanation. The results are calculated right in your browser. On paid plans you may connect your own AI account, in which case requests are routed through your account.
4. How we use information
We use the information above to provide and improve the service, authenticate you, enforce plan limits, prevent abuse, and communicate important account or security notices. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Service providers
TalkLytx runs on a secure, globally distributed hosting platform, and payments are handled by a trusted payment provider. These providers process data on our behalf under their respective data-protection terms.
6. Data retention & deletion
You can delete datasets at any time, which also removes the underlying files and details. When you close your account, we remove your personal data and content within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise them, contact us from your account email.
